Layered Portraits

Year 6 got creative with an exciting art project inspired by digital artist Mike Barrett, designing striking layered portraits that were as unique as they are! Each student began by crafting a vibrant background filled with colours, patterns, and images that reflected their personality and interests. On top of this, they carefully layered their own self-portraits, adding a personal touch to the centrepiece of their work. To finish, they brought their pieces to life by adding texture and pops of extra colour in the foreground, creating eye-catching, multi-dimensional artworks that truly celebrated their individuality and artistic flair.
