Leavers' Service 2025

Today was the leavers’ service in church, it went very smoothly. First the Year 6s read out some favourite memories of their time at St Eanswythe’s, some of these were extremely funny. They then received their awards for academic achievements, along with a ‘quirky’ oscar for every pupil in the class and a memory book. A favourite song was chosen to be sung but some of the front row were in tears and just could not manage the words.

After church the route back to school was lined by the other six classes, staff and parents, who all applauded as our leavers walked through the centre. Lastly they all threw their caps and berets into the air to say a huge ‘hooray’, they had completed the primary years of their educational journey.

We wish them all the best of luck at their secondary schools and hope they will come back every so often to tell us how they are getting on.
