Science Fun

For our Year 3 marble treat, the children voted that we would celebrate with an afternoon filled with 'Science Craziness!' We explored chemical reactions with lava lamps made from vegetable oil, water, food colouring and Alka-Seltzer tablets. We created skittles rainbows with warm water. We made bubble snakes with plastic bottles, socks and fairy liquid and then finally the much anticipated Mentos and Coke explosion! Year 3 you are awesome and have worked so hard to earn those marbles. I wonder what will happen the next time you earn ten marbles?
