Year 2 School Trip to Penshurst Place

We had a fabulous time at Penshurst Place! We split into two groups for a house tour where we learnt all about the Tudor monarchs who had owned and visited Penshurst. We saw some amazing Tudor portraits, a spy hole, a magnificent Tudor ceiling and a real beheading sword! We then explored the gardens, had lunch and played in the park. The children were amazing and we all had a great day!
