What an incredible evening we had celebrating our amazing Year 6 leavers at St Eanswythe’s! The playground was transformed into a festival of fun, laughter and lasting memories as we came together to mark the end of a very special chapter.
From the moment the party started, there was excitement in the air. The bouncy castle was an instant hit with children flying through the air in fits of giggles, while the bucking bronco brought out everyone's competitive side. With the DJ spinning tunes that got everyone dancing, the whole school rocked with energy and joy.
There was no shortage of treats either! Mountains of pizza kept everyone fuelled, while the candy floss machine worked overtime, spinning out clouds of sugary delight. Bubbles floated across the playground, catching the sunlight and adding to the magical atmosphere. The coconut throwing game was a favourite, with some impressive aim on show, the photo booth captured countless silly, smiley and unforgettable moments.
It was a night full of friendship with children laughing, dancing and enjoying one another’s company. The atmosphere was truly heartwarming, it reminded us all just how close this year group is. Their kindness, courage and sense of fun shone through in every part of the evening.
A massive thank you must go to our wonderful PTFA, whose hard work and creativity made this unforgettable night possible. From planning to setting up, every detail was perfect and we are so grateful for your love and support. Thank you also to the dedicated staff who helped run the event and kept everything running smoothly. Your support meant the world.
To our Year 6 leavers - We are bursting with pride. Watching you grow into such thoughtful, brilliant and resilient young people has been a joy. Though you're heading off to big school, please know that St Eanswythe’s will always be your home. We will miss you deeply, love you dearly and we are always here for you, cheering you on every step of the way.
Goodbye for now; Year 6 go forward with confidence and kindness. You’re ready for anything, and we couldn’t be prouder.
