Year One Beach School

Year 1 had a lovely time at Beach School last week whilst the winter sun was shining. The children explored the beach and discovered crabs hiding under rocks.

They worked together to make crab hotels using stones, shells and seaweed, thinking carefully about how to keep the crabs safe and comfortable. Some children also enjoyed writing their phonic sounds in the sand, practising their learning in a fun outdoor way.

It was a fun and exciting morning of outdoor learning by the sea!
