Yesterday was the first cookery club of the term and we had cookies to bake. Everyone listened well and followed the instructions written on the board. We weighed the flour, sugar and butter in to our bowls and then rubbed it in with our finger tips. We then formed a ball and rolled it out in to a sausage shape and made about 6 cuts to form in to rounds. Lastly we pushed chocolate chips in to the dough and baked for 15 minutes. We then wiped our tables down, took our aprons off and prepared for the delicious smell to come wafting from the kitchen!
