DT Playgrounds in Year 6

This week, Year 6 have had lots of fun designing and making their very own playgrounds. They thought carefully about what they like about playgrounds they have visited and decided on a theme for their own.

They had to include: something to hide in or under, something to climb, something that moves and of course it had to be fun and aesthetically pleasing!

The children used their knowledge of building 'A frames' including the triangulation method to add strength to the structures.

Each group communicated well and shared appropriate ideas to get a well polished end result. Well done Year 6- they look amazing!
