Science Workshop

The children have been very fortunate to be visited by one of our wonderful parents, Lori Fischer, who is a biologist. She came in to speak to all of the children about bioplastics and even demonstrated how they can be produced from a natural substance... Starch, which can be extracted from potatoes or corn! She then allowed the children to have a go at making their own bioplastics by using corn starch. All the children were fascinated by the process! Thank you so much for volunteering and allowing the children this brilliant opportunity.
