World Music Day

What a fabulous day we have had celebrating World Music Day today. We were

so fortunate to be joined by Kevin Richards, the drummer from Gumboots

Reggae Band, who led every class in a drumming workshop. The children did a great job drumming out the various patterns Kevin taught them and also at following a type of call and response signal letting them know when to start, break and stop.

At lunchtime, Mrs Hodgkinson sang to the children in the hall whilst they ate their lunch. Children and adults thoroughly enjoyed this activity and the whole day.
