Last week Year 6 went to meet Brad and Nathan from The Whitecliffs Countryside Partnership to discuss environmental issues in our local area. We walked to East Cliff via the promenade, the sea was very high and had started to come over the rails at points! Nathan and Brad spoke about the habitats and creatures that reside on the Warren and what species were in decline and the causes of this. We then donned gloves and a litter picker and carefully made our way down to an area that had just been cleared of brambles and thicket to get to work on clearing the site of rubbish. For a small plot of land there was alot of litter! When we had finished litter picking we said goodbye and went to eat lunch on the seafront, which we were lucky with as the sun had come out for us.
