Year 3 British Museum visit

Last Thursday Year 3 went to the British Museum to take a better look at what life was like in Ancient Egyptian times. Even though it was very busy we did get to see everything in both rooms. It was extra special as we are currently reading The Ancient Egyptian Sleepover by Stephen Davies who has set this story in the actual museum itself and we were all guessing which parts of the room they slept in by recalling the story. There is also alot of reference to many of the artifacts from Egyptian eras in the book, so the children had to go and look for certain statues and objects. It was a fabulous day out and the children's behaviour was excellent.
