D&T Day in Owls Class - Making Smoothies ππ
Year 1 had an amazing day making their own fruit smoothies! They started by learning how fruits grow and how flowers turn into tasty fruits. π±π Next, the children became smoothie designers, choosing their favourite fruits, using a class word bank, writing ingredient lists and creating bright, colourful labels for their cups. We have explored what an emergency actually is and when we might need to ask an adult for help or call 999. To help us remember what to do, we did lots of fun role plays. Some children pretended to be helpers, some were callers and some were the emergency services. We

Astor Dance Performance
Today twenty children from Jamesβ Dance Club went to Astor School in Dover to participate in a multi school dance festival. Every one of our girls performed confidently with great stage presence. Thank you to all the parents for providing costumes and for offering help with transport. The children behaved extremely well and were a credit to the school. They should all be very proud of themselves. Thanks James for all your hard work.
