Yr 5 Maths Challenge
Today four Year 5 pupils went to Folkestone Academy to participate in a primary school's Maths Challenge. A total of eighteen schools faced six rounds of varied types of questions. There was a speed round, logic puzzles, a murder mystery to solve, a group challenge, a crossnumber and a set of relay questions. Our children showed perseverance whilst working their brains really hard. They did a fantastic job and came 3rd overall. Well done you made us proud.

🌍 Rivers of the World - Owls Class Geography
Today in Owls Class, we became geographers as we explored the fascinating world of rivers! We began by learning that a river is like a long, winding road made of water. We discovered that every river has a source, where it begins high up in the mountains, and a mouth, where it ends in a sea, ocean or lake. During our COOL Time, Ducklings Class have been busy exploring a range of exciting dinosaur-themed activities designed to spark curiosity and a real love of learning! Ducklings Class had an absolutely roarsome time on their trip to Folkestone Museum, where they took part in a fun, hands-on dinosaur workshop!
