Maths Challenge Competition
Today we took five children to Dover College so they could participate in a Maths Challenge Competition. Each of seven teams were given problem solving, teamwork puzzles, relay and quick fire challenges to do, along with sudoku and a maths terminology crossword challenge. Creative Workshop - Year 4
Year 4 had a very exciting Tuesday morning, as they got the opportunity to visit Block 67 to take part in a fun workshop. The children looked at various artists whose artwork is based on chain reactions. Some brilliant questions were being asked, as well as ideas for their own creations. With lots of smiles and laughter, they practised guiding the ball and discovering how control and movement work together. The session was filled with enthusiasm as the Ducklings gained confidence, tried something new and enjoyed learning through active p

We all shared our ideas and watched a video about job roles to inspire and broaden our horizons. After this, we took park in a drama session where we acted out job interviews, and wow, were some of our future bosses tough! To finish our lesson, we thought about the word “aspire” and what this means in relation to our future dreams. Well do
