Year 6 have blown me away completely with their detailed drawings of different London Victorian buildings, which they completed last term. I know you will be too! We learnt about the features of classical, neoclassical and gothic architecture seen in many of the Victorian buildings in London and the children have tried to include these in their drawings. The children were focusing on developing their use of proportion, perspective and use of tone to create drawings of St Paul's Cathedral, the Elizabeth Tower or Westminster Abbey. The detail that they have included is what makes these so special. Well done Year 6!
