Who wants to be a millionaire?
What would you do with a million pounds? This is something that Year Four was thinking about in our PSHE lesson today. We started the lesson making some very hard choices in the form of a game - do we spend the money on a new car, a house, or give it to charity? Each part of the hall represented something we could splash out on and we had to run to the different options! These choices were hard enough but then things became more challenging. Confirmation 2026
This week we held our annual confirmation service. Ten of our pupils were confirmed and it was lovely to welcome Bishop Rise to lead the service. Confirmation is a special church service in which a person confirms the promises that were made for them when they were baptised. Bishop Rose laid her hands on their heads and asked God’s Holy Spirit to give them the strength and commitment to live God’s way for the rest of their life. Easter Service 2026
On the final day of term, our school community came together for a very special Easter service at St Eanswythe's Church. Over the past few weeks, the children have been busy preparing songs, poems, artwork and readings to help retell the Easter story. Astor Dance Performance
Today twenty children from James’ Dance Club went to Astor School in Dover to participate in a multi school dance festival. Every one of our girls performed confidently with great stage presence. Thank you to all the parents for providing costumes and for offering help with transport. The children behaved extremely well and were a credit to the school. They should all be very proud of themselves. Thanks James for all your hard work.

WBD Hat Competition
Last week, to celebrate World Book Day, sixty of our children took part in our Hat Competition. It was wonderful to see how much care, time and creativity had gone into each and every hat. The entries showed fantastic effort from the children, with each one designing a unique hat inspired by a favourite story or book character. Today we announced the winners and took time during our celebration worship to recognise and celebrate every single hat. The display was truly breath-
