Football Club has been very popular this term as usual. They have been participating in some fitness drills, practising football skills and playing mini matches.

Over recent weeks lots of progress has been made by the members of Shane's Unicycle Club. All the children are very supportive of each other through the learning process. The children make this extremely difficult task look easier than it really is.

Year Five enjoyed two full days of Design and Technology, which gave us the opportunity to fully immerse ourselves in our learning and explore our topics in depth. This week, Year 6 enjoyed an unforgettable trip to Kingswood. The days were filled with excitement, laughter and fantastic memories! The trip gave everyone the chance to build confidence, develop independence and strengthen friendships outside the classroom. The children displayed resilience, bravery and determination in all activities- they made us extremely proud! Today, year 2 and year 4 headed down to the beach, where they enjoyed chips from the fish and chip shop for lunch and had time to play in the glorious sunshine.

During this term, more children have been chosen to go to Glendale to read and chat with our Reading Buddies. Both children and adults enjoy the experience. Not all children have the chance to interact with such a different generation, so this is a great opportunity to mix and learn from each other. We are grateful for all the time the Buddies give up to be with us.

Lots of fun has been had this term in James' Mini Movers - with two older children assistants. They have spent some time working on interacting with props to enhance their movements. The children have used a clear plastic ball to represent a floating bubble.
